I recently discovered that I mysteriously picked up some drawing skills somewhere, and thus my intent to is post bits of art here as I progress ever further in that area. Additionally, some fanfic may be produced, but I might restrict that to FFN, as interest in written material appears to be low on here, it being an art site officially. I am capable of translating Japanese and will gladly take translation requests on fandoms that interest me--I learned Japanese for Pokémon's sake, originally. I also dabble in AMVs, but those would only be linked to in journals, as DA is rather strict on those.

Somewhat less officiously, I am attempting to learn how to talk and/or write like a normal human being, rather than the pretentious nerd that I am. Any assistance in that endeavor would be appreciated.

My current obsession is AmiMako, which is my first and only OTP, and I am currently neckdeep in Japanese fanfic translations for that pairing. My fandoms are primarily Sailor Moon (recent and strong), Pokémon (eternal and constant), and Sakura Taisen (steampunk all-female musical theater for the WIN).

September 13, 2008: Produced 1 animated and 3 static AmiMako icons.
September 14, 2008: Translated a 24-page doujinshi; posted text and link to original on lj.
September 15, 2008: Translated about 13 more pages of doujinshi; I'm holding the translations for further refinement.
September 18, 2008: Posted the first 1000 words of a fanfic translation.
September 22, 2008: Rapidly produced another 200 words of that translation.
September 25, 2008: Produced 2 static AmiMako icons.
September 30, 2008: Discovered the depth and breadth of the Japanese MakoAmi fandom and began to traverse and translate it thoroughly.

October 6, 2008: After recovering from PAC, translated a six-page doujinshi story.
October 27, 2008: Ok, I've got October 29-31 off, so anyone who is waiting for stuff shall have it killed off then!

November 26, 2008: Translated a bunch more stuff over at my blog. I'll get to the drawing after the JLPT, thnx.
